At Westcliff Family Dentistry, you and your loved ones are always welcome, and we can’t wait for you to join our ever-growing patient family! Before you come meet our team, we recommend taking a moment to read over the page below so you’ll know exactly what to expect during your first appointment. We want you to feel completely comfortable right from the beginning! If you have any questions ahead of your visit, please give us a call any time.
Your First Visit
Once you’ve stepped through our doors, you’ll be greeted warmly, checked in, and offered a water, coffee, or cappuccino. After a short wait, you’ll be escorted to a treatment room where a member of our staff will take some X-rays of your mouth. You’ll then get to meet your dentist, who will spend a few moments chatting about your dental history before performing an oral exam. They'll go over their observations with you, answer any questions you might have, and then make recommendations for treatment. If time allows, you’ll also receive a dental cleaning before being brought back to the front to schedule your next appointment.
Patient Amenities
In addition to the tasty beverages mentioned above, you’ll also be offered hot towels you can use before and/or after your appointments to help you relax and unwind. We have TVs on the ceiling above every treatment chair as well so you can get lost in a movie or show while we take care of your teeth. These little touches will ensure your appointment flies by and you’ll be left saying, “That’s it?”

Whatever type of insurance you might have, our team will know how to maximize your benefits and will make the process of filing your claims nice and easy.
